The Flower Patch: new magazine hits the shelves for anyone interested in flowers

A new print magazine named The Flower Patch has launched, aimed at anyone interested in buying, giving, growing and arranging flowers it features articles and interviews with many British florists and floral designers. 

It was first released on 15 March and is priced at £9.99, available for consumers to buy in WH Smith, Waitrose and selected newsages across the UK, and is also available online through Immediate Media Co., the company behind Radio Times and BBC Good Food. Its strapline reads, "A quality new magazine for anyone who wants to grow, arrange and give beautiful flowers. From seed to vase, we'll guide you through every stage of the growing process and share easy floristry projects."

It includes articles by florists, designers and horticulturalists including Rona Wheeldon of the Flowerona blog, Michael Marriott of David Austin Roses and Sarah Raven, and it features a host of floristry businesses including The Flower Appreciation Society, Catkin Flowers, Young Blooms, The Real Cut Flower Garden, Philippa Craddock, Scarlet & Violet, Ariella Chezar, Grace Alexander Flowers, Common Farm Flowers, Petalon, Jennifer Pinder, Tallulah Rose Flower School and Pipley Flowers.
