Myplant & Garden fair in Milan, February 2019

Combining innovation, passion and proud tradition, Milan’s Myplant & Garden is a horticultural trade fair taking place from 20th - 22nd February 2019. Its organisers say technology, design, floristry, decoration, design runways, signature installations and new products are planned to create a dialogue between nature, innovation, creativity, design and beauty. It’s a destination for anyone in search of ideas, new solutions and markets for flowers and plants.

For the fifth edition of Myplant & Garden, 45,000 sqm of the halls of Fiera Milano-Rho will be transformed into a huge greenhouse hosting urban forests, colourful lawns, flower-fashion runways, advanced technology and new design projects, welcoming visitors from all over the world.

Referenced as the leading industry trade fair in the Mediterranean, it attracts the sector’s big international names within its 45,000 sqm and during three days, when around 700+ businesses will meet and exhibit.

Seven different areas are planned

  • The Landscape Area in Hall 20 will be dedicated to the world of garden design, landscape and urban redevelopment through green building.
  • The Decor District in Hall 12 is the international window for floristry and combines fashion, decoration, music and signature craftsmanship.
  • The Motorgarden, besides its exhibiting quarter in Hall 20, will have its own outdoor live demo area, where tools and machinery will be shown and tested.
  • The Sports-grounds area is an innovation of the fifth edition. A sports-ground (soccer, golf, track & fields, cycle path) in Hall 20 will be home to a series of themed meetings with some of the most important players in the sports industry in Italy.
  • The Garden Center New Trend, a ‘must-see’ at the trade fair, will offer innovative and scenic exhibiting concepts and a rich display of novelties produced by companies in the industry.
  • With the Tree Care area — another new addition — Myplant caters to the arboriculture sector, introducing experts in the field and giving space to a number of practical demonstrations.
  • Finally, UGM - Urban Green Management, attracts the those working in building, creation, maintenance and management of the urban green areas.
