Faces of Floristry … the shortlist in full!
It was designed to be a way of sharing the love, highlighting anyone in the industry (not just florists) who is going the extra mile or who has done something awesome – be it design, kindness or sheer gutted determination and a way for EVERYONE to pitch their reasons why they felt someone should be one of the 2024 Faces of Floristry list.
What it wasn’t was a voting contest (multiple entries were read but not used as a criteria), we considered everyone in the chain because it takes a whole chain to make this industry happen and when it came to florists they could be shop, studio, freelance, home or simply working for someone.
But the main criteria was the REASON a person was nominated and why the 75 word entry we asked nominators to write was so important. Just saying someone was wonderful was a given but we needed to know more. And we got more. Loads more in fact!
Yes, it has meant the Panel, led by current BFA Florist of the Year Stephanie Harris of The Rose Garden Florist in Great Dunmow, has had to read thousands of words and it's taken far longer than we planned but it’s been worth it.
Because whilst the 2024 Faces of Floristry will be just a tiny taste of the amazing industry, some of the reasons really touched a nerve and in more than one case caused a lump in the throat moment.
The final list will be announced on June 8th … National Florist Day itself … but in the meantime here’s all the nominations we received. See who made it to the shortlist for 2024 and start thinking who you would like to see on the 2025 list!

The Selection Process
The 2024 Faces of Floristry will be chosen by the Florist Panel and Ambassadors.
Multiple entries do not affect the final outcome
Anyone can be nominated but National Florist Day 2024 Ambassadors are not eligible for inclusion in the final 100
All entries will be validated and checked, and the decision made based on both the reasons given and researching the nominee’s social media accounts.
The Panel’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be advised by email and sent their certificates digitally. Neither these or any other National Florist Day branding or other assets may be tampered with or changed in any way.
Any abuse will result in the nominee being removed from the 100 list.
