Florists from across the UK and Ireland will start learning on January 25th if they have been invited to be members of Good Florist Guide.
It’s all part of the Anniversary celebrations for the brand which was launched in 1999 as the only peer accredited and checked mark of quality for florist businesses.
Now in its 25th year, it's launching a special celebration for florists, but not just any florist!
Because these will be florists who have been personally selected by founder Caroline Marshall – Foster with support from GFG Council members Emily Elvin, Karen Massey, Karen Lindsay, Morgan Douglas Nuth, Stephanie Harris, Jake Nicholson-Lailey and John Elstgeest of Flower Circus who is assuming responsibility for Good Florist Guide over the coming months.
Commenting on the move Caroline said, “I and the team know there are many wonderful florists out there who deserve the accolade of being in the Good Florist Guide but who may either think they are not good enough or haven’t yet got round to it. So, we thought it would be a fun way of celebrating our milestone year and my handing the project over if we turned it around and invited them to join!”
The first 25 will be announced and invited on Saturday 25th January and be highlighted through a series of promotional activities. Thereafter on the 25th of every month another 25 will be invited, again benefiting from the promotion the GFG platforms provide for their members.
And if they accept the invitation, it won’t end there. Because being part of GFG is so much more than just a certificate. Not just a way of showing customers you truly are at the top of your game but a unique business support system and way of connecting with like-minded business owners so that you can ask and get sensible answers to any question – be it best suppliers or how to deal with staff issues.
