Enhance Your Floristry Business Skills with Capel
Capel Manor College is pleased to launch three brand new online workshops for new and existing florists to help them expand their business skills in three key areas: wholesale buying, profit margins and UK growers and flowers.
The past year has been tough on florists and the industry as a whole. Brexit has had an impact on the way flowers are imported into the UK, and on top of that, COVID-19 has presented its own additional challenges.
The new workshops are perfect for existing floristry business owners or new florists who are about to enter the industry. They aim to equip florists with the essential business skills needed to help their businesses grow and cover topics such as seasonal availability, varieties and trends, maximising profit margins from large orders and minimising waste, or different types of wholesalers and how to purchase perishable and non-perishable goods.
Each workshop lasts three hours, costs £30 and will be taught by one of Capel Manor College’s industry expert tutors who has a wealth of experience in retail and e-commerce.
