Helen Chambers Wins Sustainable Influencer title
Evolve Flowers' founder, Helen Chambers, has been honoured with the prestigious SWA Sustainable Influencer Award, recognizing her exceptional contributions to sustainable floristry and environmental advocacy.
A trailblazer in the floral industry, Helen has dedicated her career to reducing waste, promoting locally sourced blooms, and inspiring florists to adopt eco-friendly practices. Through Evolve Flowers, she has championed innovative solutions such as reusable packaging, dry moss shipping in #Reuseabox boxes to cut carbon emissions, and collaborations with sustainability-focusing on B.CORP suppliers such as #Reuseabox and Naked Sprout.
Helen's influence extends beyond her business, with her workshops, talks, and mentoring services helping florists and floral designers transition towards greener practices. Her advocacy has also led to changes in national floristry standards, including influencing the RHS to incorporate British-grown flower labelling in competitions.
“I am incredibly honoured to receive the SWA Sustainable Influencer Award. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at Evolve Flowers, and I hope this recognition will inspire more florists to embrace environmentally responsible practices,” said Helen Chambers, adding” This award encourages me to keep going, and to continue inspiring British flower focused florists and arrangers to make a difference however small – it all added up”
