The tension is building as the 24 contestants in the World Cup Floral Art 2025, finalise the pieces they are going to make and read and re-read the rules and regs before they head to The Hague in The Netherlands for the finals taking place from 28 to 31 August at the World Forum in The Hague.

The championship is a unique opportunity to witness the latest trends, techniques, and artistic visions in floral design. Contestants will be judged on artistic concept, technical skills, innovation, and presentation. And if all that wasn’t enough excitement alongside the competition, visitors will enjoy demonstrations, exhibitions, workshops, and connect with the best in the industry.

Organized by Royal VBW in collaboration with the international florists’ association Florint the World Cup Floral Art competition represents the highest level of achievement for floral designers worldwide.

Six competition assignments
Throughout the three-day event, competitors will complete six floral design assignments, several of which will be surprise items, and which will be judged by an international panel of experts. On Saturday, 30 August, the winner will be revealed during a spectacular theatrical finale featuring a spectacular demonstration by the 2022 winner Hanneke Frankema.
